I had my first Philly cheesesteak a few years ago on a road trip with my friend Dana. A year after that, I made my next trip to Philly and tried a few more cheesesteaks from different spots throughout the city. No disrespect to the City of Brotherly Love, but, of course, my immediate idea was to lose the hoagie roll and put that irresistible mixture of meat and cheese on top of tortilla chips.
